What is your experience with Wedding Photography?
I've photographed 35+ weddings, both as lead photographer and second shooter, along with 50+ proposals and elopements across New York City. Before weddings, I spent three years as a street photographer here in NYC! That background is actually where most of my eye comes from: reading a moment before it happens, and helping people feel at ease in front of a camera almost instantly. I bring that same instinct to every wedding I shoot now.
This is my first time in front of a camera, what should I know?
Some of the best photos I've ever taken were from couples that have never been photographed before! Together we ensure that you don't feel awkward, out of place, or shy way before our time together!
Far in advance, we'll collaborate on visual ideas so you feel familiar and confident with everything!
Do we need an appointment for NYC City Hall?
Yes, the Manhattan Marriage Bureau requires a scheduled appointment and a marriage license obtained at least 24 hours in advance. We'll walk you through the exact steps during planning so nothing catches you off guard.
Can our families join for part of the day?
Absolutely. Plenty of elopement couples bring a small circle for the ceremony itself, then keep the rest of the day just for the two of you. We'll plan around whoever's there.
What if it rains?
New York doesn't stop for weather, and neither do we. We'll always have a strong indoor backup spot mapped out in advance.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you have a date in mind. Elopement dates move fast, especially in spring and fall.
